בצל האירועים במדינה, רגע נחת שסיפק ביום שבת 18/5/24 אגודת מכבי חיפה כרמל עם שיא ישראלי השייך לאתלטית, סיון אוירבך בריצת 1,500 מטרים. האתלטית הירוקה קבעה תוצאה של 4:11.29 דקות בתחרות שנערכת בעיר, ניימכן שבהולנד.
בהישג היוקרתי שיפרה אוירבך, את השיא הלאומי שהיה שייך לאתלטית האולימפית סלאמוויט ביולין טפרי ב-8 מאיות (4:11.37 דקות) שנקבע ביולי 2019. כאשר, אוירבך גם משפרת את השיא האישי שלה ב-4.5 שניות. אוירבך, לומדת ומתאמנת באוניברסיטת אוקלהומה סטייט בארה"ב.
