ברחבת תצוגת קופי הטמרינים אדומי כף היד שבגן החיות חיפה, נחנך השבוע מתקן שעשועים לזכרו של מאור זוסמן ז"ל שנפטר לפני כשנה לאחר מאבק קשה במחלת הסרטן והוא בן 3 בלבד.
הוריו, איל וקרין בקשו להנציח את בנם החייכן שאהב יותר מכול בעלי חיים ואת הקופיף שכיכב בסדרת הטלוויזיה דייגו. בטקס המרגש השתתפו בני משפחת זוסמן הוריו קרין ואייל, קרובכי משפחתו וחברים וידידי המשפחה הרבים.
אייל זוסמן על בנו מאורי ממנו למד יותר מכל שמחת חיים ואהבה לבעלי חיים. מאור שמחצית מחייו הקצרים נלחם במחלת הסרטן ואשר ברוחו המיוחדת והשמחה הוקם המתקן להנצחתו במקום שחי ונושם ילדים.
מנהלת גן החיות ד"ר אתי אררט, הודתה למשפחה על הסיוע אותו העניקה לשיקום תצוגת הטמרינים ועל החלטתם להקים מתקן לילדים לזכר בנם במקום בו החיים ממשיכים וילדים נהנים ואוהבים.
